Once interest, availability, and monthly rent have been agreed upon via call or email, here's what to expect next.
Individual Application Process
A straightforward path from application to move-in for personal renters.
Background & Credit Check
Each adult tenant completes a comprehensive screening through TurboTenant, including credit, background, eviction, and income verification.
Stay Awhile Rentals requires a minimum credit score of 650 and income verification demonstrating at least 2.5–3x the monthly rent.
Lease Agreement
Once cleared, Stay Awhile Rentals prepares a standard Colorado lease for the agreed timeframe. The lease is sent and signed electronically through TurboTenant.
Security Deposit
Sign the lease and submit your security deposit to hold the rental for your specified move-in dates. This secures your reservation.
Renter's Insurance
Proof of renter's insurance is required before move-in. This protects both you and your belongings during your stay.
Lease Extensions
Need to stay longer? Lease extensions are considered on a case-by-case basis. Just reach out to discuss your needs.
Corporate Application Process
Tailored for businesses housing employees, contractors, or teams.
Occupant Background Checks
Each adult occupant completes a comprehensive screening through TurboTenant, including credit, background, eviction, and income verification.
For corporate bookings, the personal credit requirement is waived; however, all occupants are subject to a background check regardless of who is responsible for payment.
Business Verification
Since the business serves as financial guarantor, we verify company standing through:
- Better Business Bureau (BBB) standing
- Colorado Secretary of State registration
- Experian Business credit check
Corporate Lease Agreement
Once cleared, the lease is sent and signed electronically by an officer, owner, or authorized business personnel through TurboTenant.
Security Deposit
The guarantor signs the lease and submits the security deposit to hold the rental for the specified dates.
Insurance Requirements
Proof of renter's insurance is required, and/or Stay Awhile Rentals LLC must be named as "Additionally Insured" on the business's Certificate of Insurance.
Lease Extensions
Lease extensions are considered on a case-by-case basis to accommodate your business needs.
Required Documentation
- Designated business point of contact for all communications
- Copies of government-issued IDs for guarantor and all occupants
